Call for Fieldwork Applications
Prize: £400
GREECE BEYOND THE CRISIS
As part of its Greece Beyond the Crisis series, the Greek Politics Specialist Group (GPSG) is launching a research fieldwork competition with a £400 prize. Applications are welcome for any type of fieldwork on any aspect of the complex economic and social crisis facing Greece. Research fieldwork might include (but is not limited to) interviewing, observation, surveys, content and discourse analysis, ethnographic research, focus groups, document analysis, future scenarios or bibliographic research.
Applicants should submit the following documents:
- a 300-word summary of the proposed research
- a detailed budget of how the prize money will be spent and a declaration of whether additional funding from other sources has been / will be sought.
- a detailed timeframe for the completion of the research.
Extended Deadline! The application documents should be sent via email to rgerodimos@gmail.com by 15 October 2010. Please note that only applications which are complete and are received before the deadline will be considered.
It is a condition of the competition that the winner shall join the GPSG as a Full Member and they shall disseminate the findings of their research through a research report that will be published under the GPSG’s Working Paper series in early 2011.
